caterpillar hole punch

Hole punch is a great exercise to strengthen the hand muscles and train fine motor skills.

Your child can punch into each fragment of the different caterpillars. You can talk about the different colors of the caterpillar or practice counting on how many holes were punched.

Preschoolers can punch the correct number of holes into each of the leaves. And if you have a kindergartner then write some addition or subtractions math problems on the leave templates.

Simply download the “cut-the-rainbow” worksheet with the button below and print out.

Cut out the rainbow and cloud silhouette. Then separate the colors of the rainbow but cutting between the colored strips.

Now your child can roll the dice and cut off one field of the appropriate number. The game is over when all number field were cut off.

Which color will be finished first? Great way also to teach about chance and probability.

Valentine's envelope hunt

Valentines scavenger hunt number envelopes for kids

Get your child moving with this great Valentine’s envelope scavenger hunt. The envelopes have either numbers (1 to 20) or letters (A to Z) on them.

Hide your envelopes throughout your house and let your kids find them. They can collect them in a nice valentine’s box or just any container.

They can then sort the envelopes in sequential order (numbers or letters according to the alphabet). Or if your kids are still young

Print out your envelope template (click button below to download for free) and laminate for durability (optional).

Note: Believe me, the design of the container aka “mailbox” doesn’t really matter. It’s the hunt for the envelopes that will entertain your kids for at least 30 minutes (probably much longer though)!
